Bobby D. Hicks is the Pastor of New Home Baptist Church, located in Landover, Maryland. His wife, First Lady Tyonnie Hicks serves along side him with the blessing and support of their two children Jeremiah and Aaron as well as his mother Deaconess Eloise Hicks.
Under Pastor Hicks’ leadership, many lives have been changed through his anointed preaching & teaching. Pastor Hicks’ steps are ordered by the Lord as he demonstrates a Godly example of love, character, strength and humanity. Through these Godly principals Pastor Hicks has started a Foreign Missions Ministry supporting the Overcoming Faith Churches of Kenya, and Uganda in East Africa. He has been very instrumental in providing a feeding program and shoes for 950 orphans, the expansion of their schools, and providing monthly financial assistance to support 70 full-time Pastors to help them spread the gospel of our Lord and Savoir Jesus Christ.
His biblical based teaching has given birth to over 40 Ministers, numerous Deacons, Deaconesses, and Trustees. Through his leadership additional ministries have been developed to meet the spiritual as well as the practical needs of the membership and the community. Pastor Hicks teaches the love and care of your family is your first ministry. In addition, he affectionately looks at the Seniors and the Youth Ministries as the bookends of the entire ministry. It is this visionary leadership which is led through the Holy Spirit that has erected our Dreams & Visions Christian Learning Center and the planning for a future Senior Citizen’s facility where seniors can live free of rent.
Pastor Hicks has instituted our Church motto of “Finding… Feeding… Fencing…”
